Services

As a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers, and an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, my approach is ethical and professional.

I am passionate about my work and provide a safe, compassionate, kind and respectful service tailored to meet individual need.

I am a Clinical Social Worker and have qualifications in both family therapy and couple therapy.  I have specialised training in Emotionally Focused therapy, Gestalt psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy,  Sensorimotor psychotherapy, Cognitive Processing therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy and have a background as a Visual Artist.  I am currently undergoing my Masters in Gestalt psychotherapy.  I have worked in both the health sector and in private practice.

My approach is trauma informed and relational, based on research from neurobiology, attachment and mindfulness.  I work collaboratively, authentically, and use a process orientated and embodied approach.  I have a vast range of experience in working with issues of anxiety, depression, stress, relational difficulties, self esteem, life transitions, grief, bereavement, living with illness, existential concerns, dying and death.  I am an experienced group facilitator, having run groups, for example, on self esteem building, grief and loss, self care, stress management, mindfulness and vicarious trauma.  I also design and provide training for professionals.

Please feel free to contact me for further information or to book an appointment.

"Kylie has supported and guided me through significant life changes and difficult times over the past year and a half. I have grown so much and have a much deeper understanding and acceptance of who I am. With Kylie's incredible guidance, I have let go of the things that no longer serve me and genuinely feel that I am living a better life as a result."
